To provide some background to this new software, it was created by Management Solutions for Emergency Services (MSFES), whose founder and Managing Partner, Keith Bost, has over thirty years of fire service experience, with over 12 of those years as a fire chief. The company’s staff members also
have over 250 years of combined fire service experience.
MSFES has been in business for over twelve years, offering consulting and software to 450 plus fire departments, rescue squads, counties, cities, and state divisions across the Carolinas.
Until now, we have remained focused on providing consulting services, but with the development of Ember-Fire, we can now scale our services to help fire departments across the country. We are eager and happy to begin servicing your department.
Ember-Fire is an application-based software that works seamlessly on your desktop, tablet, and all mobile devices. Keith built the software based on his experiences as a firefighter, Captain, Battalion Chief, and Chief of Department. He understands how information flows and how it is used to support the department’s activities and ISO rating.
For example, the software was built for use by firefighters
while out testing hydrants so they can enter the information directly into the App. At the same time, the officers can view the information on their desktops in real-time at the station. Keith wanted the software built so that the Fire Chief could be in a meeting with their boss or sitting on the beach on vacation watching the fire department function. Keith has taught us that chief officers are never on vacation; they just work from the beach, so ensuring the Fire Chief knows everything is fine within minutes is way better than calling in for updates.
Our company’s commitment is to provide pricing accessible to all departments regardless of their size.
We currently have departments with budgets of less than $80,000 and fire departments with budgets of more than 10 million dollars, and those small fire departments have everything the big ones have. While other software companies selling to fire departments are raising their prices anywhere from 400% to 1,000%, Keith has committed that we will not do that. Keith has also decided that not only is our software made by fire service professionals in America, but your data is also stored in America, as other software companies store your data in other countries.
